Soft Demolition

Soft stripping is usually conducted prior to the demolition, refurbishment, or redesign of a structure. Non-structural interior and exterior components are typically removed prior to any soft stripping, leaving just the steel framework/shell.

Before beginning any soft stripping work, King Of Herts Construction will survey the premises to identify any potential hazards. If asbestos or other hazardous waste is present, it will be properly disposed of.

The removal of all floor coverings, temporary floors and ceilings, non-load-bearing partitions, mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems (including lighting, cables, cable trays, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, and utilities (gas, electricity, water, and telecommunications) as well as other fixtures and fittings is referred to as interior stripping out.
